Sponsor Circle Resources

The welcome and support of a newcomer through the Sponsor Circle Program is a significant commitment, but it is one that you won’t take on alone. You will have access to several kinds of supports.

  • Community Sponsorship Essentials

Through this training, you will learn about your role as a sponsor circle, how to organize for welcoming, and helpful skills that will support you and the newcomer you are welcoming. At least one member of your sponsor circle must complete the training in order for the group to be certified. Make sure to select sponsor cirlces when registering!

  • Tools

Explore various tools to support your planning and preparations to welcome a newcomer, such as checklists, a budget template, and a suggested food list for early purchases.

  • Information & Application Support

The application process may seem overwhelming, but there are organizations available to assist you. View our step-by-step guide to get started.

  • Ongoing Guidance

Once you have been matched with a newcomer, you will be connected with an organization that can provide you with ongoing guidance, answering questions that you may have as they come up.

  • Hear from Sponsors & Newcomers
